How to Make Your Candle Last Longer
A luxury candle is an investment in atmosphere. With a little care, your Coco MINO candle will burn beautifully, evenly, and for longer — giving you more of the moments you love.
1. Trim the wick before every burn
Always trim your wick to around 5mm before lighting. A shorter wick means a cleaner, steadier flame and prevents excess soot. A wick trimmer is ideal, but small scissors work perfectly too.
2. The first burn is the most important
Allow at least 4 hours on your first burn. The wax must melt all the way to the edges of the jar on every side — this prevents tunnelling and ensures an even, full burn every time after. Take your time with this step; it makes all the difference.
3. Keep it away from draughts
Wind and air movement cause uneven burning and can shorten your candle's life. Find a still, sheltered spot to let your Coco MINO candle shine.
4. Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Give your candle a rest. Burning for longer than 4 hours can cause the wick to mushroom and the wax to overheat. Extinguish, let it cool completely, trim the wick, and relight.
5. Store it with the lid on
When not in use, replace the lid to protect the fragrance and keep dust away. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the scent.
Follow these simple steps and your Coco MINO candle will reward you with hours of beautiful fragrance — and memories worth keeping.
